Partner With Us

The Central Valley Community Foundation provides a platform for community action and impact.

We bring together people from across the region to focus on the one thing we all have in common – THIS PLACE.  We continually deepen our understanding of the region and facilitate opportunities for donors to create their philanthropic legacy right here. Our donors give to us and through us because of our shared love of the Valley and our common future.

Non-profit Partners

We partner with local, state, and national funders, many are interested in learning about the non-profits serving our region. Register your non-profit today so we can learn more about the work you are doing and when the time comes, we can share it with interested funders. Please note, submitting this form does not guarantee funding.

Most grant or funding applications require data about the region you serve. CVCF has created a data dashboard for Fresno that contains data from 28 metrics associated with upward mobility. These metrics are grouped within DRIVE’s three priority investment areas: economic development, human capital, and neighborhood development. Within economic development, you can find metrics related to employment, finance, and even digital access. In human development, you will find metrics associated with education, health, and social ties. Our neighborhood development metrics include data that impact resident welfare such as housing, racial diversity, environment, policing, and transportation.

Community-based organizations can establish a nonprofit fund or endowment with us. It is a simple way to create sustainability for your mission. We handle fund and investment administration so your valuable staff time can be focused on serving the community.

Advantages of a having a fund with the Central Valley Community Foundation:

  • We alleviate the administrative burden of investing and managing your dollars and if endowed, provide a reliable stream of income in perpetuity.
  • We can accept a variety of assets into your fund such as cash, securities, real estate, personal property, bequests, and retirement plan assets.
  • You can fundraise for your fund directly and we will receipt, thank, and process the donation on your behalf.
  • We host an annual Investors Conversation with our investment advisors to lead with transparency. We can also meet with your board of directors to keep them informed of your fund’s investment performance.

We love to share about the impact our grants make throughout our region! If you have an example of the difference a grant from the Central Valley Community Foundation made, please let us know!  We desire to lift the impact of our philanthropy through our newsletter and/or social media platforms.

CVCF has a small amount of funds set aside each year for sponsorships to support local CBO’s and non-profits. If you would like us to consider sponsoring your event, please email the event information to Taylor Kimber at taylor@centralvalleycf.org. Make sure to include your event’s date, location, website, sponsorship levels, and event audience as well as a list of funding received from CVCF over the past three years.

We are currently refining our open call for proposals and plan to relaunch it in 2025.

Given the number of non-profits working throughout our region, we are unable to promote your organization’s fundraising events, fundraising campaigns, broadly solicit fundholders, or share historical donor information.  We appreciate your understanding.
