Fresno DRIVE: Developing the Region’s Inclusive & Vibrant Economy

A 10-year investment plan to develop an inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable economy. DRIVE advocates for $4.2B of investment through 14 initiatives focused on Economic Development, Human Capital, and Neighborhood Development.

F3: The F3 (Farms Food Future) Initiative

F3 is a collaborative DRIVE initiative to develop “climate-smart food and agriculture systems” to spur innovation, support farmworkers, and create a sustainable and diversified ag-based economy.

Sierra San Joaquin Jobs: Community Economic Resilience Fund

Funded by the State, this 4-County coalition (Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings) is working together to create a Regional Economic Recovery and Transition Plan.

CVOF: Central Valley Opportunity Fund

CVOF is a private, donor-advised fund dedicated to improving the lives of residents of the greater Merced community. CVOF invests in impact-driven initiatives focused on Youth Development, Economic & Workforce Development, and Housing & Homelessness.

The Big Tell: Short Films. Big Stories.

The only annual film festival in the region exclusively featuring Central Valley filmmakers and their stories. The Big Tell offers grants for the production of 5-minute short documentaries.

PRO Neighborhoods: Partnerships for Raising Opportunity in Neighborhoods

Fresno’s PRO Neighborhoods Initiative built the Fresno Community Capital Collaborative, a partnership of organizations who provided nearly $5M in small business loans to 84, primarily BIPOC-owned businesses.

Measure P: Fresno for Parks

A broad coalition of Fresno Area residents mobilized to support a citywide sales tax to fund local parks and arts. Measure P will generate $1.5B of improvements for parks and cultural arts amenities over the next 30 years.

Central Valley Legislative Roundtable

A joint convening of four regional community foundations and district staff from the Valley’s State and Federal delegation. Quarterly gatherings provide an opportunity for networking, information sharing, and leveraging the region's public and philanthropic resources.
