The Central Valley Community Foundation and Fresno DRIVE are hosting a Community-Wide Read featuring: The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee. The New York Times bestseller is a groundbreaking call to action that examines how racism affects and harms all of us and how we need to face it head-on, together. The Foundation will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to create a just and thriving Central Valley, and we are eager to share this book with local residents so we can continue our collective learning journey towards inclusive prosperity. We are committed to this vision, and we believe understanding our nation’s past decisions is critical in achieving big and lasting change for our community going forward.

Purchase The Sum Of Us from your favorite bookseller or download a free eBook / audiobook through the Fresno County Public Library. A library card is required, and is free to sign up for. For library book questions, please call: (559) 600-7323.
STEP 2: RSVP FOR THE EVENT
